My heart is overflowing with gratitude for this morning.
I was going to share just one seed of joy in the chat, but the whole story is quite beautiful. I don’t want to forget it.
So, here’s a little photo story of my slow, sweet Saturday morning, thanks to an early Friday evening.
Sitting in my favorite spot—my window seat—I watched the still-mostly-full moon glow behind pink clouds.
Morning pages and coffee in hand, I then noticed a daffodil blossomed in a plant I’ve been hiding from you all. I’ve had it for 2-3 weeks and was starting to think those faded orange cocoons you see below were a sign of death. Seems I was mistaken! Look at that one opening its arms to the sun :)
Then, a quiet bike ride to our Saturday farmers market to get our weekly fruits, veggies, fish, meat, broth, eggs, nuts. And I admired some more beautiful flowers, but enjoyed them without wanting them.
Then, another quiet bike ride to a nourishing, stretching, grounding, peaceful vinyasa yoga class at my new favorite studio. I’m falling more and more in love with each visit.
And then, a blissed out bike ride to the best bagels in Amsterdam, Bread Winner. They’re sourdough and just wonderful.
Even more wonderful enjoyed with my legs dangling above the canal, admiring the persistent blue sky above and the little birdy hanging in the water below.
And lastly, while getting up from the canal, I saw a little white feather right behind me. As I’ve mentioned before, I ask my spirit guides to show me white feathers when I want some assurance I’m on the right path. I asked for one yesterday.
Little reassurances that all is well. They matter. Thank you :)
May your Saturday and Sunday be restorative, peaceful, and happy too.
With love and light,
Syd
